HOW IT BEGAN As a teenager in the 1950's I was very interested in cars - not their mechanics or their speed, but the designs. I collected brochures from garages and on visits to the Motor Show in London. From Aug 1959 to Dec 1961 I bought The Motor each week and, of course, saved them! Since then I have collected hundreds of cuttings, adverts and brochures but it is the early ones illustrated here that have a special appeal for me. |
