COLLECTIONS

THESE TWO CADBURY'S ADVERTS WERE PRODUCED OVER 50 YEARS APART YET THEY STILL CONVEY THE SAME MESSAGE.

THERE IS ALSO A GAP OF ABOUT 50 YEARS BETWEEN THESE BIRD'S CUSTARD ADVERTS BUT THE USE OF RED, YELLOW AND BLUE CONTINUES.

IN THE 1960's SMIRNOFF'S SLOGAN WAS "THE EFFECT IS SHATTERING". THEIR ADS OF THE 21st CENTURY ALSO PRODUCE THE UNEXPECTED LIKE A TATOO ON A SOPHISTICATED LADY OR A STRAIGHT RIVER THAMES.  

THE GUINNESS GROUND BREAKING ADVERTS BY JOHN GILROY IN THE 1930's WERE REPLACED BY WHIMSICAL ONES IN THE 1950's. THEN IN THE 1970'S THE DARK GLASS OR BOTTLE WAS  OFTEN A FEATURE OF THE ADS.
