I made my first stage appearance in a Gang Show in 1954 and my last one in Oklahoma in 2006. In between I have been in 49 amateur productions and just one professional one. At Thorne Grammar School and at Goldsmiths' College, London I performed in G & S operettas. After moving to Lancashire I did a village hall show and then joined Preston Musical Comedy Society that puts on musicals at the Charter Theatre, Preston. At that theatre I have also performed with Charter Theatre Company One, Preston Opera, Act One and in some charity shows. In 1999 I went to a 4-day Les Miserables masterclass in London finishing in a closed performance at the Palace Theatre. In 2000 I played Gepetto for 18 performances in a professional production of Pinocchio at Darwen Library Theatre. Below is a complete list of shows I have taken part in. |
